How it's made
The live edge Maple is debarked, cleaned, and planed. A form is built around the wood in order to pour the epoxy resin. Crushed Mica and coloring is added to the epoxy to create the visual effects. It is then heated and dries for 2 days. It is then removed from the form and put through the surface planer again and sanded perfectly smooth. Three layers of food-safe, all-natural stain is used to finish the piece, and hardware is added.
