Elestial crystals are recognized by multiple, natural terminations that cover the surface of a crystal. They are usually also etched and have multiple layers. They have a very distinct appearance so you 'know them when you see them'. Metaphysically, Elestials are some of the most prized Quartz forms. They are attuned to both ancient knowledge and aid future sight.

Melody in "Love is in the Earth" writes: "[Elestial Quartz] is the 'enchanted crystal', bringing with it the concepts of Shiva ...it provides the user a 'hug from the wind of the willow', allowing for flow in change and actualization. These crystals can be used to assist one in overcoming emotional burdens, to bring the heart and the intellect into synchronicity, and to help one look within and find the love that has always been there.

The Elestial Carries the inherent memory of that which was in existence prior to humanity. It can be used to help one become aware of the immortality of the spiritual being within the self and to enhance one's life on this plane of reality. It serves to provide an entrance to information concerning the past, present, and future of one's personal existence.

The Elestial contains the absolute and ultimate essential wisdom and can provide for transfer of this insight" pg. 518
