This is a large Pineapple Quartz point with soft white color. Long and wand-like, this specimen is wonderful for holding during mediation or just to admire the detailed formation. Pineapple Quartz is also known as candle Quartz, as it looks like a candle melting down. This formation occurs when daughter crystals emerge from all sides of the original Quartz and grow parallel to the main point. I liked the all-white coating on these particular specimens because it reminds me of a sweater or a blanket around the crystal, which feels appropriate for the comforting energy of this Quartz. Metaphysically, Candle Quartz is a 'light-bringer' bringing comfort in the darkness. It is also mentally illuminating, sharing knowledge and enhancing insight. It has a motherly presence; White Pineapple Quartz, in particular, is thought to be imbued with a more feminine energy.
