Striped Sky Blue Labradorite, 2.5lb Free Form

Labradorite

Regular price $62.50

This is a unique, sky Blue Labradorite free form with defined stripes. A large specimen, this Labradorite weighs over 2.5lbs and has an even, soft shape. This Labradorite has an unusual, complex flash with many different viewing angles. It was hard to capture all of the flash occurring at once, but as you can tell it has some stellar stripes. Behind the stripes, it almost appears as if there is a more subtle, solid blue flash.

A stone of the New Moon and universal truths, Labradorite is wonderful for intention setting, developing intuition and new beginnings. Labradorite can be a stone of any chakra, as it can encapsulate all color rays. Many Labradorite stones contain more than one, or many colors. Blue Labradorite resonates with the throat and third eye chakras, allowing for the flow of information and our ability to process or express our newfound knowledge. All Labradorite is thought to activate the higher chakras, connecting us to the vast universe; Labradorite is used to explore higher realms of thought and deeper levels of consciousness.

Stone of the Aurora Borealis: An account of Inuit legends tells of a time when the Northern Lights fell from the sky and became frozen in the Earth. A warrior tried to release the Aurora by striking at the Earth with a sword. It was not released but instead began to glow and flash from within the stone.
