Rare find! This is a crystalized Rose Quartz specimen hailing from Brazil. You will receive the exact Rose Quartz crystal shown. Rose Quartz does not typically form prismatic crystals, and finding well-formed, colorful pieces is exceptionally difficult. Even a specimen with a tiny prismatic crystal is a great find, so pieces with larger formations like this are very scarce. 

The pink color in rose quartz primarily comes from microscopic fibrous inclusions of a silicate mineral (possibly dumortierite-like material) embedded within the crystal. These inclusions scatter light, giving rose quartz its soft pink or milky appearance. However, when quartz crystallizes into individual, transparent crystals, it typically excludes these fibrous inclusions, leading to clear quartz instead of pink quartz.  In rare cases, pink quartz can form without fibrous inclusions through trace amounts of titanium, manganese, or iron impurities, but this process is geologically uncommon.
