An incredibly rare find, this is a Cobaltoan Calcite Stalactite Slab. Currently, the only available example of a Cobaltoan Calcite stalactite available to purchase online. This material does not form stalactites; this is likely a pseudomorph where the original stalactite was replaced with Cobaltoan Calcite. Fully intact. Both the quality of gems and color is excellent. Both sides are polished. This would have come from a very large formation. Stalactites can take up to a million years per inch of growth. I found this lot in Tucson in 2022.
