Unusual Pyrite Nodule in Shale, Plainsville, MA. Locally Mined

This curious Pyrite nodule specimen was found in the Masslite Quartz in Plainville, MA by local miner Larry Bull. Like a distant galaxy, these little Pyrites sparkle in jet-black stone, possibly shale. A special find, there were only a few f formations found that contained Pyrite from the lot. A one of a kind find for your mineral or crystal collection!  Purchased from the miner at the 2024 Topsfield Gem Show.
